Stash Dash Bus Trip
Friday October 3, 2008
Organized by the Kingston Quilt Shop, 360-297-2729
Please call us at the shop to reserve your spot.
Cost: $40 per person (payment in advance by cash, credit card
or check to KQS - checks must be sent to our PO Box, and you still need to phone in to reserve your space. Go to Contact Us for complete mailing information.)
Deadline to sign up is Friday, September 19.
Lunch is provided by Little City Catering.
   Eastsiders* can take the 7:50 walk-on ferry from Edmonds.
Shop 1: Kingston Quilt Shop (Bus leaves at 9:15)
KQS will open at 8:30 AM although Stash Dash materials will
not be distributed until 9:00.

Shop 2: Esther’s, BainbridgeIsland (10:00-10:45)
Shop 3: Heirloom Quilts, Poulsbo (11:15-12:00)
Shop 4: Material Girls, Silverdale (1:00-1:45)
Shop 5: Just Scrap It ! Just Quilt It!, Port Hadlock (2:45-3:15)
Shop 6: Sequim Sew and Vac, Sequim   (3:45-4:00)
Shop 7: Quilted Strait, Port Angeles (4:45-5:30)
You should arrive back in Kingston about 7:00 PM and we
will be open to greet you.
            Eastsiders* can catch the 7:15 ferry back to Edmonds.
Details: The bus has a bathroom.
Please dress in layers so that you can find your own comfort
on the bus.
Parking: $3.00 per day in the commuter lot located
about 1 1/2 blocks behind the shop.
KQS will provide an Ambassador to escort the bus and take
care of problems.
However, the bus driver is in charge of your safety and
bus rules must be followed.
We are not responsible for delays due to closures of
the Hood Canal Bridge, for boat traffic and/or changes
in the ferry schedule.

29th Annual Cabin Fever Quilt Show
Sept. 26 and 27, 2008
Jefferson County Fairgrounds, Port Townsend WA 98368
sponsored by Cabin Fever Quilters, Chimicum Wa.
In additon to quilt and wearable art displays, there will be demonstrations, a Country Store, voting for the ‘challenge’ quilt; “Quilts Go Hollywood” and - refreshments available throughout the show. And be sure to find your favorite shop’s booth - Kingston Quilt Shop will be there with our always fabulous fabrics AND we’ll have our HQ Sixteen quilting machine. Come and give it a go - you’ll dig it.


	Fishing for a Cure 2008 Gig Harbor Quilt Festival October 2008 This mermaid quilt by Jacque Noard is one of many stunning pieces that will be on display at the festival. It will be auctioned to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. Go to www.gigharborquiltfestival.org to find out about this event in beautiful Gig Harbor Washington.
