	Quilting Services & Classes

		Kingston Quilt Shop is now provides quilting services. We have a large variety of ‘all over’ or pantograph patterns to choose from. We are not offering custom quilting, however we will be happy to refer you to our favorite local quilters for those special jobs. Call soon to get your quilt top put on the list. We have very little waiting time so far - but that won’t last!

	Forget the car and just walk on the Edmonds Ferry to Kingston. Leave your quilt with us or learn to quilt your own here! Either way, you’ll be glad you came to Kingston.

Jacque is now offering long arm quilting classes.
Any who are interested in renting time on our HQ 16 will be required to take the class first. You will learn the basics; how to load the machine, general operation, etc... Class is limited to two students at a time. Call the shop and ask for Jacque class for details. (360) 297-2729

Our HQ 16 is available to rent to those who have passed the quilting class (see above). You will be required to purchase a set of leaders (you pin your quilt backing to these on your own time, then just zip it on when you get here). You bring (or purchase) all materials needed for your quilt, including backing fabric, batting, bobbins and thread (or pay a $5 thread fee).
Rental rate is $15 an hour, and when you have bought 5 hours, you get the 6th one free! Rental hours are limited so call early to reserve your space.
We reserve the right to refuse rental to anyone at any time

Kingston Quilt Shop now has a nonprofessional home long arm quilting group. And- beginning this September we are adding an evening group! The group is open to anyone interested in the quilting process. Share your quilting experience or come to be inspired. The groupwill have the support of professional help and the occasional guest speaker. There is no charge for this activity. Meetings are scheduled for:
First Wednesday of the month, 6 pm - 8pm
First Thursday of the month, 10 am - noon,
